John Strain

John Strain graduated from Diboll High School in 1971. He worked at Southwest Color Printing for 5 years before entering the insurance profession as a sales representative with BlueCross BlueShield of Texas in 1979. He was District Manager in Lufkin for BlueCross BlueShield of Texas from 1982 to 1985. John joined Gip Friesen in 1986 in the group health insurance business and has been with Friesen-Strain since that time.
John has been married to Jackie for 36 years. They have a daughter, Jayan, son, Jonathan, and 4 grandchildren.
